That doesn't make sense. The disrespect is far greater towards the rich Thai's with their noses in the air. Especially the ones who inherited their coin without a clue how to make it, but preach endlessly to society through the media about how the country should be run and how people should think and act. :roll:

Perhaps when Buddhism is made the official state religion, they will all have an enlightment? :shock: Pete :cheers:

i have no doubt you're right there sargeant. thats the same scenario all over the so say third world. a superiority complex is a dangerous state of mind & can lead to endless problems.
we are pretty insignificant as individuals in the bigger picture of life.
away from our family, friends & local environment we are just a single entity, no more important than the next person.
i'm more than happy to mix with the locals (thats everywhere i have been) as much as fellow tourists/expats, making friends likewise.
