Thanathorn is right, Thais should know the truth. Astra Zaneca is also right to probably cancel the deal because of dictators behavior.

The original story from Matichon Online has been removed.

The vaccine was approved for use in Thailand on Wednesday.

If anything, the criticism by Thanathorn was actually directed at the Junta.

OK, this is matichon today:
https://www.matichon.co.th/covid19/news_2543603.
So everything is great now.
Anybody have a theory as to why Thailand is buying 50,000 doses of the AZ vaccine from Italy? I thought the contract with the Thai company was signed months ago. What have they been doing? Did they really have to wait for approval instead of going ahead preemptively as others have done?

You must always remember; whatever is simple and easy, Thai's will make difficult and complicated. It's built in to the language, therefore it's part of their "thinking."

Had A Covid Vaccine? You Could Still Spread The Virus, Warns Van-Tam

People who have received a coronavirus vaccine could still pass the virus to others, the deputy chief medical officer for England has warned.

Professor Jonathan Van-Tam said even after being inoculated, people must still abide by lockdown restrictions or they could still risk infecting others further down the priority list.

Writing in the Telegraph, he said it was still not known if people who had been vaccinated could still pass on the virus to others, even though they were protected from falling ill themselves.

“So even after you have had both doses of the vaccine you may still give Covid to someone else and the chains of transmission will then continue,” he wrote.

As has been said, how can Thailand allow vaccinated people into the country before the local population has been vaccinated. There isn't even a vaccination plan agreed. If there is then it's being kept secret.
