Well, couldn't find the "Full Match" or the Muppet's reaction. Just the highlights and absolutely gutted at the result.

I have heard however that the twunt has received a 6 week ban. Absolute disgrace IMO - the pr*ck deserves far more, but then again, he plays (well, did) for "The Club"....... :tosser:

If you go the TV page of the Gallagher Premiership website and scroll right down to the bottom of the page, they have full matches from last weekend back to Round 10 in February. If not all of them, then certainly most. Well worth putting into your favourites.

While his teammates were yelling, leaping up and down and patting each other on the back at the end of the game, Brown's reaction was neutral, to say the least, almost as if he were annoyed that they'd managed to win without him.

^ thanks for that DM - I was having my own Muppet Moment.

I absolutely adore rugby - a wonderful sport full of class players, full of respect for the game.... There are also certain styles of play and players that "bend the rules" slightly that I also have great respect for........ :D

BUT, I have an absolute hatred of those where the arrogance, the holier than thou attitude and complete disrespect of the game comes to play - Mike Brown and Quins epitomise this for me.

They are the "Lah-De-Dah Club" bordering "HQ" with sufficient parking for the "Plus 4's"....... Hey, pop down to Cas-Newydd, though I doubt you'll get a welcome!! :neener:

[EDIT] Above invite aimed at Mr. Brown, not you DM - anyway, I live in Cas-Gwent!

(^^I've put the Range Rover up on blocks... but I'm keeping the waxed jacket and flat cap! )

The British and Irish Lions' warm-up Test against Japan will be shown on Channel 4 as live coverage of the team returns to terrestrial television for the first time since 1993.

As well as the match at Murrayfield on 26 June, Channel 4 will also show highlights of all three Tests against world champions South Africa.

Lions managing director Ben Calveley said he was delighted at the news.

The Japan fixture will be the Lions' first home game since 2005.
Well, it's a start I suppose, though I'm not expecting any large oaks to grow from this small acorn.
And it looks like pharvey's prediction about a reduced schedule is going to come true. A shame, but hardly surprising in the circumstances.
The Lions were set to play eight games across six locations, but this schedule is likely to be changed to reduce the amount of travelling required because of disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The final schedule is expected to be confirmed this week.

The schedule is not yet confirmed, but things are going ahead and matches will be played. I've set up a league with Superbru who obviosly will update things as we go.

The usual suspects will have an invite by Email, but for any others interested, details are below: -

Bath yet again inept, but at least not a disgrace to rugby as Sale/"Little Africa" are - good God!! If not for poor refereeing, they would have been down to 10 men!! The so named "Man-of-the-Match" Curry shouldn't have been on the bl**dy field!

Sale - you are a disgrace. Bath, FFS get a coaching team!!

No way, I know absolutely nothing about rugby, don't even know what the usual scores would be. Besides football and F1, the only other sport I could join in is ice hockey.

Oh, OK - throw it back in my face.... :D . Actually have enjoyed ice hockey - went to see "Cardiff Devils" on a few occassions way back when it seems. Although I suspect the "British Elite Ice Hockey League" is a little below the standard you're used to watching!!

Quite a match at Leicester today where the Tigers played host to my favourite team, the Quins

In all seriousness very exciting with Genge having a stormer - can't say I'm a great fan of the guy, but hell of a game and I think unfortunate to be on the wrong side of a refereeing decision (although correct in the strictest sense of the law)....

I won't post the result in case members can see the match later - certainly well worth the watch!!

I'm afraid your unbridled joy rather gave the game away!

Watched it this morning on the Premiership website. Yep, excellent game! I like Marcus Smith, who's consistently very good and at 22 is one to watch for the England spot in the not-too-distant future - just needs to tighten up on the goal kicking. It was good to see Tom Youngs, Dan Cole and Richard Wigglesworth still going strong for Leicester. Very impressed with Green, the Quins full-back replacing your mate Browne.

Some excellent tries and a lot of good running rugby and hard tackles. I agree with you that Genge was a tad unlucky; even the letter of the law should leave a little room for discretion on the part of the referee. Speaking of which, Luke Wotsisname is quite impressive, although perhaps a bit too inclined to defer to the other officials. There's no one like Nige!
