Mrs BB had to attend a clinic at HHH4 this morning. I was amazed when they stated blood pressure and weight checks had been suspended due to Covid :?

The one time, several years ago, I went to the pork shop, I saw people picking up pieces of pork with their bare hands, I never went back.

They still do that in Makro. The pork shop (Moowanna) now doesn't allow customers to help themselves to, or touch, the meat; there are staff at every point. Of course there is always the odd imbecile.

I hope they have that rule when (if) I go for my jab. I get white coat syndrome. BP could be 110/70 at home but half hour later at the hospital it could be 160/85.

No good idea to eat uncooked pork.

I don't think these are necessarily Covid-19 "hotspots", at least I haven't seen them mentioned in any timelines. They have these cleaning exercises all over the place as a PR thing.

Hi! Does anyone have any info on controls / requirements for returning by car from Bangkok to PCK province, now that BKK has tightened up again. We need to go up to see a specialist and we plan to go and return in the same day. The PCK public health office Facebook page seems to say (in Thai) that we need to register in advance (a QR code) and then self isolate for 14 days at home. Is this still the current requirement?
Thanks!
