I suggest the restaurant in Top Marks Hotel (one of the advertisers in Accommodation Section) for a tratidional English breakfast, delicious and reasonalby priced.

Most of the mornings/afternoons you will see the (regulars) same resident expats coming for the breakfast.
Say mai penrai live longer!

Totally off topic, but you're wrong there, Steve. Thai street dogs love that stuff! It's what I use to give meds to the really finicky dogs, as they adore the taste & it's so sticky & gooey, it's hard for them to pick the tablets out of it. :thumb:

Sorry, :offtopic:
Ok Dawn, I'll bring out some liverwust pate, I never eat the the bloody stuff anyway and I'm glad that it has some use! By the way, I've just found out that our new dog in Issan has been named Pepsi; I spent about twenty minutes on the phone trying to work out the Thai name only to find out that my partners son has named him after a fizzy American drink!

The best breakfast i ever had , was contracting (Electrician) in Scotland she would do this enormous eggs ,bacon , sos, black pud, white pud, beens tomatoes, fried bread and toast and tea. This would keep you going for a 14 hr day and then a load of beer and a curry . Then do it all again the next day 7 days a week.

never saw breakfast time in thai time ! :D
plenty of good places for brunch in hua hin, though i prefer the local menu to the trad fry up.
as for german breakfast? lived there for a few years, mainly in the east & the breakfast is as described here, awful . the german menu on the whole is pretty unexciting, lovely country though!

The best breakfast is in the Hilton many selections, Bread section, Pastries, Fruit Smoothies, Egg Bacon Sausage section including mushrooms tomatoes etc etc and a Noodle bar, as much tea coffee and fruit juices as you can drink and as many visits as you can make to the counter, without doubt the best
I stayed there for one week then moved into the Fresh water Inn made the crossing on a daily basis, crispy streaky bacon each morning could not resist it.
If your a long stayer consider joining the Health club about 2500 baht per month then you get 20% discount off food and drink, breakfast was about 550 before discount.

You can design your own huge breakfast in Crawfords for less than half that.

You could have 3 full meals off the breakfast menu in any of the Guesthouses or places in town for 500 baht.

Ask for them to be brought over 1 after another, bit like a Buffet. :thumb:
