My wife was easily able to assist a client with this registration. No errors. "Success" email received within minutes.

Nothing like doing beta testing on your first 30K users.

Cambodia to mix vaccines as booster shots to fight Covid

https://www.bangkokpost.com/world/21581 ... ight-covid

PHNOM PENH: Cambodia will begin offering a booster shot against Covid-19, switching between the AstraZeneca and Chinese Covid-19 vaccines in an effort to fight the spread of the coronavirus in the neighbouring country.

Prime Minister Hun Sen, launching the vaccination campaign for 12-17 years old, said on Sunday that the third dose will be offered to between 500,000 to one million frontline workers as a priority.

"People who have already been vaccinated with Sinopharm and Sinovac should be given AstraZeneca as the third booster dose," Hun Sen said in a speech which was broadcast on social media. "For Cambodians who have been vaccinated with AstraZeneca, Sinovac should be given as the third dose," he added.

Hun Sen also said the country will purchase more AstraZeneca vaccines through Covax for the booster shots and the recent US-funded Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be used to vaccinate indigenous peoples in northeastern Cambodia.

Cambodia has launched a lockdown in eight provinces bordering Thailand this week in a bid to prevent the spread of the Delta variant of the coronavirus.

The World Health Organization (WHO) said this week that the Delta variant has been detected amongst migrants returning from Thailand through land borders and is now in the local community.

"We are racing against new variants. We must act today, and we must act fast to have no regrets tomorrow," said Li Ailan, WHO Representative to Cambodia, in a statement on Saturday.

Cambodia managed to largely contain the virus for most of last year, but an outbreak first detected in late February has driven up total cases to 77,919, with 1,420 deaths.

Try and register again, hopefully you'll get an appointment on one of your email addresses and if you get 2 answers you can cancel the one which doesn't suit you

OK, that's what I was getting at - you haven't registered again with the new system.

I was pretty sure you'd had your first jab as I saw you there on July 28. I did go up and and tried to say hello (as you advised me to) but I didn't get much of a reaction from you so I don't know if you actually realised I was talking to you.

Just saw this on Facebook:

Outside the capital, the registration process for vaccination varies from province to province but, in many cases, expats are reporting success.

In Prachuap Khiri Khan province, Hua Hin Hospital has won praise for the system it developed to help foreigners use the provincial vaccination portal “Mor Prachuap Prom”. The site requires a 13-digit ID number, but foreigners can easily obtain one in a few minutes by visiting a registration desk at the hospital. Staff will note their passport details and then give them a 13-digit number that can be used to make a booking on the site.

Sorry, yes I saw you, and did acknowledge you (at least I thought I did). I hate talking through a mask, and it probably showed. I was a bit in awe of the fact it was all actually happening. It was usual white coat syndrome with blood pressure, but they eventually calmed me down (3 perfect tests before leaving home  ). By the time I got to floor 8, I think you were in the queue on the other side of the building.

OK, no worries. My blood pressure was also way higher than it ever is when I check it at home and my pulse rate was through the roof for some reason.

I have to agree with you, Joelle. I was there on Wednesday, and I thought the process that Hua Hin Hospital did was exremely efficient. they did very well in spite of the occasional old fart Ferang compaints

Mine was the worse I've ever known it. Even when I 'passed' it was pretty scary by my standards. It must be a Covid jab thing because while I was sat waiting, very few achieved what would be considered normal, but were allowed through.

The sheer audacity for a member of the public, a commoner, to approach one of Hua Hin's finest -- a HH forum moderator, no less -- and expect to be responded to. You're fortunate a glove slap around the face wasn't forthcoming.

Some lucky people in Bangkok who have registered with Medpark are going to get a choice of vaccine, including Pfizer. Wonder how many will opt for Sinovac before it's all that's left.

Will anyone in PKK get the chance?

It's the perfect storm of stress factors all present at the same time. Sitting or standing waiting in a mask, possibly not socially distanced, possibly uncomfortable ambient temp in the room/area, apprehension about the shot itself and if you'll have any reaction, and other personal concerns.

It's a bit odd to me that if a person has high BP they can deny the vaccine when one of the alleged contributing causes of Covid death is hypertension. :banghead: I've checked with my daughter in the US and they didn't check BP when they got their vaccine. Do they in the UK/EU?

We know that in Thailand they check BP every time you turn around if you visit a hospital or clinic for some kind of procedure. They even check my 15 year old daughter when she goes in to get her tooth braces adjusted! I've always chalked it up to having to give all the excess nurses something to do? :duck:
