Unless they've changed it recently, outside the entrance to the main building (where ambulances stop) they have tables set up, one of which was also doing vaccine registrations. There is a PC on this table where they can check/update appointments.Big Boy wrote:The desk at the front of the hospital? Can you be a bit more specific please? I'm fairly conversant with the layout of the hospital, but wouldn't have a clue which desk or where it is located. Do they just deal with vaccine?

Even if you have a language problem you can just show your vaccine paper and Mo Phrom or vaccine check page. They should see the problem.Big Boy wrote:Thank you. I know where you mean. I actually may have to visit the hospital tomorrow.

Just been to the hospital. The vaccine table is now closed and unmanned.Big Boy wrote:Thank you. I know where you mean. I actually may have to visit the hospital tomorrow.
There is another help point just by the doors and they may be able to help.
Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
My visit today became unnecessary. As GroveHillWanderer has identical messages to me, I'll take my chances on the day. It'll give me something to moan about if they say no, so that'll keep me happy
Actually, my daughter has been relaying some alleged horror stories about the computer not matching reality this morning. However, I can't substantiate them, so won't share.

Announcement: Process to obtain COVID-19 Certificate of Vaccination or "Vaccine Passport" from Hua Hin Hospital
For those who need governmental proof of vaccination to travel to certain countries, Hua Hin Hospital is issuing a Certificate of Vaccination booklet for people who have been vaccinated at their facility.
After you receive both doses, go to the ground floor on the left side Hospital Reception. Speak to the hospital staff and tell them what you want and they will contact the proper department to help in the process. Bring your paper showing both doses are done, your passport and 50 baht for the fee. Wait one week for the hospital to call you to pick up the book.
If you received a vaccination from another facility you should contact them directly for their process to get the booklet.
If you have any questions, please go to Hua Hin Hospital personally and ask.

You've had the first shot so the appointment list is no longer important. What is important is what's in Mo Phrom. If that says you've had the first shot and has date for 2nd shot, then what's the problem?GroveHillWanderer wrote:I got the same message saying I was scheduled to get vaccinated on August 3rd. I ignored it, because it was obviously wrong but today I noticed that it's been updated and the message now says that I'm due to get the vaccination on the 9th of August.Big Boy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 8:29 pm A question for those who were vaccinated last week at HHH. After the vaccination, my record should have updated with vaccine given.
I've just been checking my record, and it was telling me I should have attended today because I wasn't vaccinated last week. Have any of you checked your entries? What did they say please?

However when I check in the Mor Phrom app it tells me (correctly) that my second dose is due 23rd August, same as the paper they gave me after my first jab.
Tried calling the hospital a couple of times but the line was busy.
Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
I don't know but I sincerely hope so, when you go for you 2nd jab can you find out and please let us know, as you will be going before my husband whose appointment is end of SeptemberDannie Boy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 06, 2021 12:55 pm I wonder if Cha Am hospital will do the same?

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
There probably isn't a problem, but it depends upon which app you look at. Maybe I'm old fashioned, and haven't naturalised yet, but I expect such vital systems to be joined up, and working in unison. If they don't work or are meaningless, they should switch the meaningless apps off.
Additionally, if the horror stories relayed to me by my daughter this morning are true, that probably gives me a 33% chance of receiving my 2nd jab on the 23rd.

Today I got my first shot of AZ courtesy of The British Chamber of Commerce at Bangrak Medical Centre,BKK.
In and out within 1 hour with the second shot booked for the end of October. No dramas
and good social distancing protocols in place. Shots given in groups of 7.
No road blocks on outbound/inbound journeys(although I did have the travel letter supplied by BCC) and a breeze getting in and out of Bangers.
1 thing of note is that they had my Hua Hin queue number in their system so I guess thats a

So all that fuss about sealing off dark red areas from one another, yet alone allowing travel in and out of the dark red zone was just a load of tosh.
Talk is cheap

I did see a couple of tented areas manned by cops and army but they were well shaded whilst looking at their phones. Plenty of Beemers and Mercs en route to HH for the weekendcaller wrote: ↑Fri Aug 06, 2021 2:19 pmGood for you - well done.electricwarrior wrote: ↑Fri Aug 06, 2021 2:06 pm Today I got my first shot of AZ courtesy of The British Chamber of Commerce at Bangrak Medical Centre,BKK.

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
The three stages of an Anti Vaxxer from my chats with one.
1) "I'm not putting that poison shit in my arm. The vaccine is killing more people than Corona."
2) " I've had to have the vaccine because I need to travel abroad"
Here's the doozy. Not content with him surviving the vaccine...
3) "Yeah, but what I'm really worried about is what happens 4 or 5 years down the line"
Given that most of us are now 60+ your mortality rate is bound to increase.
Point is these idiots will never give up OR admit they were wrong. It will be like "My friend got knocked down and killed. I blame the vaccine for altering his concentration!!"
