3 metre umbrellas

Post by bigston »

Im wanting to buy 2 of those cantilever type shade umbrellas, they are nothing flash but will do the job
there seems to be nothing anywhere here, Global House advertise this one on their website , but like most things they dont have stock when trying to buy in store.
if i buy thru Banggood, which ive used a few times before
what "extra charges " Thai imposed, might i expect getting them delivered here
the umbrellas sell for 1726 THB each
thanks.
or if anyone knows where to source this item locally, id be appreciative.

I showed the photo from the link to the wife and she said she's seen that type at INDEX. That's INDEX stores in the East and closer to Bangkok. Regardless, INDEX seems good at getting something in quick from their warehouse(s) if it's a product that they usually carry and advertise. I haven't looked at the INDEX on-line store, so that may be a starting place.

I'm fairly sure I've seen them at Global House in Pranburi as well.

Shopee has 1 dark green one for 655 baht. If COD available, I find those (COD) make it through customs with no problem. Probably because if a duty imposed, some people may just say 'screw it, send it back'.

Don't forget to read the not so fine print on Banggood listing:
"Please note: Umbrella frame not included"

Same applies to Shopee listing.
