Booster Vaccines - Covid 19

^^ Doesn't seem to do anything yet.

I tried this several times since BB posted(I'm sure it's the correct 'link' but.....)

Using a PC( not a mobile) when I enter my 13 digit code into the box, when I hit return or click the blue button below, nothing happens at all

I don't even get an error message

It's like the process isn't completed yet

Or the site is just faulty or not yet active?

Out of interest, has anyone contacted the Public Health Office about this?

I write this not as a "troll" or trying to goad the site owner into a reaction!

I am a great believer in personal human rights and choices but under certain conditions those have to be somewhat curtailed, i.e. pandemics(current), war, natural disasters etc.

Its not only about YOU, it's also about having consideration for other people around you. How would you feel if it was proven that you infected a person who subsequently died?

Until I see any reputable hard evidence against, I will continue to follow the advice given and fulfill my obligations to myself and those around me.

I'm by no means an anti-vaxer (I've had my two), but this has to end somewhere - this virus will not stop mutating, all we're doing is running from the beast while those at the top get richer and gain more control over the masses.

But to do nothing is not necessarily the best way forward? Ok we could all play a waiting game and see what transpires with Omicron, but how long do we wait and what happens in between?

As for getting a booster, I don’t think it’s going to happen here anything like the rush they’re making in the UK, so by the time booster shots do become available, they’ll hopefully be more accurate data available to make an informed decision.

Maybe, but some issues are more serious so my second signature becomes more relevant.

I have had 3 shots now the third my booster. What i will say i can still catch the virus and pass it on .There is no way i will have a forth i am now convinced it has to take its course as the spanish flu after the 1st world war we have become soft and frightened to much of a nanny world.

It’s quite amazing that many, many millions of people have been taking annual flu jabs for years and years and yet faced with a situation none of us could have foreseen just a couple of years ago, many people are adamant they won’t take any precautions or not more than 2 or 3 doses of Covid vaccines. If it turns out that annual boosters are required to prevent serious illness, what’s wrong with that? Citing that big pharmaceuticals are making billions out of this pandemic is nothing new, they’ve been doing that for generations.

The flu shot has been around for years and was tested for years before being released to the public. The Covid shot was rushed out and there are still many unknowns, including the long-term effects.

On a personal note, I've never had a flu shot or had the flu. I had a cold about 60 yrs. ago. I maintain a strong immune system through diet and supplements and stay away from crowds.

I'm not an anti-vaxxer &'m not recommending any particular lifestyle to anyone else. Everyone does what they think is best for them.

Of course the flu vaccine has been available for donkeys years, but Covid is new so we either wait until it’s pedigree is proven, or take a calculated chance and get vaccinated. Although there has been a very small percentage of adverse reactions, the benefits appear to considerably outweigh the risks.

But as you say and as I have agreed, everyone can do their own thing, but there’s still a risk that by not getting vaccinated, this disease will linger longer.

Vaccinations won't stop the disease from lingering. The best case scenario is that it will slow down the spread. This virus and its mutations will be around for, at least decades.
