Well then sateeb, have you watched 'Hand of God' ? My Daughter wanted to watch it not knowing Maradona football reference. It's in English subtitles set in Naples 1986 about a dysfunctional family (what else). the daughter quickly left the room at the obligatory sex scene.

I know this isn't for everyone.

Just watched the 2021 stage version of 'Anything Goes' starring Felicity Kendal (75) and Robert Lindsay (72) - remember him?
Filmed entirely at The Barbican.

I've always loved live theatre. Back in the day I used to go to a show or play a couple of times a month.

How old was Felicity then - 15? :duck:
Actually she was quite a sexy woman in her younger days (40’s not 15).

Haha.... She would've been very close to 30 then

I saw her in a restaurant in the West End( London) when she was about 50 and believe me she was still very attractive then!

Watched the Ghostbusters Afterlife flick yesterday. Good for a bit of popcorn nostalgia but not much else as its the same rehashed story.

Watched Gone Girl(2014) last night on Netflix

Very good acting and production

Bit of a strange, unusual plot but that can be a good thing right?

All in all I thought it was worth watching

Not watched it yet. Just edited my above to mention the mixed reviews it received. Lowest rotten tomatoes score for a marvel film to date. Others loved it.

Loads of 5s and 1s. Certainly a marmite movie.

^ Well, downloaded it but will watch the full series - can't say I've seen any aside from the first one (maybe second)..... We'll see! :D :thumb:

One I'm looking forward to which is hardly "main stream", but close to my heart is "Save the Cinema" - based on a true story which I remember well as it happened in Wales! :D Very good cast and out on SKY later this month - hopefully available on the usual suspects shortly after.

All revolves around a campaign to save a local cinema from closure in South Wales with the unlikely intervention of a huge Hollywood Director and the premier of one of his top movies.....

Not for all I'm sure....

Just finished it. Dunno what the bad reviews were for, I thought it was really good! Great movie for the ol' cinema screen in the VR headset. :D

8.5/10
