I am planning a trip to Phuket and intend to drive. Does anyone know of any restrictions or requirements for driving onto the island ? I have my vaccination certificate but wondered whether some test result may be required. All the information for travellers seems to be related to arriving on Phuket by air.

I drove down and back earlier this month. Was waved through two checkpoints including one after the bridge. Only issue I had was with the hotel which demanded to see my Thailand Pass.

I don't even know what a Thailand Pass is! Is this a requirement to stay in any hotel on Phuket and if so, please tell how do I get one?
