I was the same, after reading the poor reviews, but downloaded after Lost's recommendation.

Moonfall. Easy-watch, popcorn sci-fi. Thought it was decent.

Had some dire reviews - so hadn't bothered. Might just attempt it now, if only to extract the urine afterwards with regards to your movie choices.

Forget the reviews. It's mindless, over-the-top, action packed fun. Armageddon meets Independence Day meets (insert more disaster movies). Some big name actors in it too.

If you're looking for a clever, meaningful movie... this ain't it.

Only just noticed it's a Roland Emmerich movie. Should have guessed really. End of the world stuff is kinda his thing.

Needed a bit of a lift this evening, so revisited "Deadpool" (1 & 2 )...... For those who haven't watched, give them a go. Bad taste perhaps for many, but personally I love them!

Oh for Deadpool 3.......

Looking forward to this one, though may have to get to the cinema for it methinks..... The book also mentioned in the article looks well worth the read.

Yep, been looking forward to this one for a while. Also coming up in November from the same author Ben McIntyre, "A Spy Among Friends"..A Spy Among Friends follows the defection of notorious British intelligence officer and KGB double agent, Kim Philby, played by Mare of Easttown's Pearce, through the lens of his complex relationship with MI6 colleague and close friend, Nicholas Elliott

For those that like courtroom battles, I'd recommend 'Black and White' from 2002. Based on actual events from 1959 in Australia when an aborigine was accused and convicted of raping and murdering a 9 year old child. Appeals right up to the Privy Council and then a Royal Commission. None overturned the verdict but his sentence, after facing the rope 7 times, was eventually commuted.
I found it quite compelling.

"Operation Mincemeat". I went looking for this on PB/LT this morning before I saw your post just now. Saw the trailers when watching The Masters golf on sky

I knew it would be a longshot though

But maybe after it's released in cinemas next week???

I've no experience yet of DL a movie so close to cinema release date

Haha. I'd need to look up titles but there have been movies available for DL a week or two before premiering in the cinemas!
I think many of them are from non English speaking countries who get advance copies to allow subtitling or dubbing, then get 'leaked'.

Don't think you've got any chance. It's not a "mainstream movie" and as such won't be on the usual threads/downloads early if not for quite a while.

I shall be taking my dear old Mam to the cinema to watch - providing of course we can take the stairs!!

Shortish and IMO very sweet, starring the splendid Mark Rylance, not a household name, but he deserves to be.

I do enjoy watching movies again after an appropriate time

After a period of approx 8 years, I watched Zero Dark Thirty the other day for the only the second time

And I'm glad I did, lots of things I didn't remember. Just a great production and stellar cast.

One I've been really looking forward to has hit the yts shelf. X. Will be watching later, love Jenna Ortega. Supposed to be a pretty brutal, twisted old-school slasher.
