Well, I read Free Practice completely wrong...... Mercedes looking well off the pace after qualifying - 1.5 seconds off Crashappen which is ridiculous. The Alpines also doing way better, and fair play to them :thumb:

This track is very good for overtaking, so many teams have taken "Grid Penalties" here - Crashappen and LeClerc included.

Bellow are both the Qualifying Sessions and the Final Grid after penalties... :thumb:

A great day for Red Bull. VER will go to second WC.

Nice to see, Sir Lulu walking home to pit.

Oh dear, back again Pie Tun?

Crashappen and Red BS no doubt deserve the Championship(s) this year, but it's hardly Crashappen's 2'nd when he was gifted his first.

As for the race - not the result I wanted or expected....

LH going out on Lap 1 was his own doing and he both acknowledged it and apologised for it - a pity Alonso can't show the same character or respect, but then again what would you expect? Great driver, not such a great character (remind you of anyone)?

God only knows what's going on at Ferrari - ludicrous tyre changes during practice and qualifying, tactics have been a joke and let LeClerc down badly regardless of mechanical issues...

Mercedes - Truly thought they were on the up, but way, way behind the BS team. Where to go from here....?

ANYWHO.....

The HH Table: -

Congrats to JJBones....

A great day for the Dutch, super VER!
Congratulations to Sir Lulu for his fourth place, nice that RUS could wave to him from the podium.

Ignoring the usual "Lulu" BS, hardly a "great day for the Dutch" - Yep, Crashappen took first through Safety Cars and a total cock-up with tyres on the second Safety and Russell's padantick views.... Perez in 5th (both Mercs above him)!

No Doubt Crashappen and Red BS had the pace yet again, but Mercs are getting way closer - disappointing to be honest how the Scuderia are falling back. Again, some shitty team tactics and very poor Pit Stops - Good God!!

The Dutch Dick is of course way too far ahead, but interesting to see what happens from now on..

Ignoring the usual "Crashappen and Red BS" BS, Rus sent Sir Lulu to retire.

The redcoat strategy team is either on the Red Bull payroll or they are drinking red wine again while the drivers are on the track.

HOWEVER, there have been a hatful of Grid Penalties which changes things around somewhat. Also, if you're wondering who this Nyck de Vries is, he's the Mercedes reserve driver who has been drafted in in place of Albon who has had surgery for appendicitis after falling ill on Saturday.

An incident packed race delayed race at Singapore - Perez takes victory for Red BS, but is under investigation, so all could change. As it stands however: -

A well deserved win, but what is it with the stewards? As the commentators discussed, it should have been decided there and then.

Delaying the decision was a farce - ultimately Perez was handed a 5 second penalty but as he finished 7 seconds plus ahead of Leclerc, his win is confirmed.

The Scuderia however seem insistent that Perez infringed twice so should have been handed 2 penalties - a 10 second penalty would have meant Leclerc would have taken victory.
