Probably more for Brits but the second series of Bloodlands has been airing on BBC for the past month or so, starring James Nesbit - I’ve enjoyed it having watched 5 out of the 6 episodes with the final episode being shown in the UK next Sunday.

For those with a 'funny bone':

Man vs Bee. Created and acted by Rowan Atkinson. A 'Mr. Bean' type series.

In 9 episodes (1 x 20 mins followed by 8 x 11 mins) Don't know why it wasn't glued together as a full length feature.

For me, it was hilarious, but it's not for everybody.

Last nights Top Gear on BBC 2 sees the presenters in Thailand , the land of the pick up truck. Includes racing on the Keang Krachan race track and some crazy wooden Kart racing, the likes I've never seen before, called 'Formula Hmong'!

Worth a watch just for the Thai interest.

Edit : BBC1`.

SAS Rogue Heroes (iPlayer)

A BBC drama about the creation of the SAS in North Africa during WW2. Not a docudrama, just a drama closely based on actual events. How closely, I don't know, but it would be nice to think that it wasn't too far from the truth.

Just started ep 2 (of 6) and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Thought I'd watch the 1st episode last night before heading to bed and ending up nigh on 4 episodes before marching orders given!
Thoroughly enjoying it, and as it's based on the book of the same name by Ben Macintyre - should be very close to the truth. :thumb:

Have also been watching "Old Man" which I'm also enjoying ......

^^I'm on ep 5 now, so it's turned into a binge. I forgot to mention what a great sound track it has - everything from hard rock to Moel Coward and George Formby.

For whatever reason, I’m not enjoying it and stopped watching half way through episode 2.

GOLIATH (Season 4)

I have just completed the above series starring Billy Bob Thornton, who is truly excellent in this role.

I was a little reticent at first as, despite enjoying Series 1 & 2, my recollection of Series 3 was not good at all.

Apart from one or two very brief moments I thought series 4 was excellent. A very strong story line and brilliant overall production.

I truly didn't want it to end. 9/10

/\ I thought S1 was stellar, S2 meh, S3 truly awful. I will give S4 a go, cheers.

Here's some good 'uns I'm watching now.

COMEDY.

Hacks S1&2, maybe not for everyone but one of the few I'm binge watching.
Explores a dark mentorship that forms between Deborah Vance, a legendary Las Vegas comedian, and an entitled, outcast 25-year-old. imdb

SPRUNG..from the creators of My name Is Earl and starring the always excellent Gareth Dillahunt.
Having been previously incarcerated, Jack moves in with his former cellmate, Rooster, and is determined to turn his life around, just at the start of a global pandemic.

REBOOT...From Steven Levitan the genius behind Modern Family
Follows an early 2000s family sitcom that Hulu has rebooted and their dysfunctional cast that must deal with their unresolved issues in today's fast-changing world.

DRAMA

Bloodlands S2
A Friend Of The Family
Interview With The Vampire S1
The White Lotus S2

I started White Lotus 2 last night without realising(or checking) when it had aired

Ep 1 had only just been aired 3 days ago so now I'll have to wait for weekly episodes

Schoolboy error!

It felt very similar to the first one....
