Number 3,
The application is not made at The Embassy any more. It hasn't been for nearly a year.
If you want to be surprised, just post here and we'll tell you where to go.

Mulder,

Following on from richard's advice, I agree with him and have found them to be extremely helpful when you e-mail them. An answer is usually provided within 24 hours. I've actually used their e-mailed answers as part of my evidence when applying for holiday visas ie "I've provided this evidence as advised by yourselves in the e-mail attached at Annex ??". That way they have difficulty in saying that you have provided the wrong evidence.

And now on to something much more important than marriage - yes of course Barry Hayles will be playing for the Green Army next season - he may be old, but he's got a couple of good years left in him.

Now -

BB i would still have barry playing for the Lions, another subject

Anyway after doing a bit more research, i found a typical list of interview questions.
They may ask if i send money over, and if so how often ?
Not sure if this is a trick question, and what relevance it has, i don't send money over, but what do they want to hear ?

Do you love her? Do you support her? How long has it being going on for?
What do they want to hear?
The truth may be a good start.
I'd just come over to Thailand and live here. All the potential problems with your missus's visa application will fade away to nothing.
Her reason to return is you. And you live here. Easy.
Then the troubles start with your visa!!! He he.
Sorry, it's never easy whichever way you play it. Just be honest, because I assure you The Embassy are past masters in finding bullshit.

Mulder,

lomuamart's advice is spot on - tell the truth.

What they want to hear is your lady confirming what you have written in your letter of introduction/sponsorship. If you write that you send 100 Pounds per month and she says you send 50 Pounds per month, there is a discrepancy. That is all they need to turn you down - 1 discrepancy. If you tell the truth, there is a greater chance that you'll both say the same thing.

Many foreign boyfriends send varying amounts of money each month to help support their girlfriends, some send nothing - it doesn't really matter either way. However, if you are sending something, then you can use that as part of your proof of the relationship ie you can show bank statements with regular transfers to Thailand.

It would be a step in the wrong direction if Barry Hayles dropped back in to the 3rd division
