Vincent, I did not stop your access to anything. I am not able to do that, admin does that. And, as Lev said above, he has explained that to you.

It wasn't me in Butterfly Rock, I've never been in there. Had you said Takeang or Mr.Torr, it might have been me, but only if it was more than a year ago. He died in March 2006. There are actually lots of Western girls with Thai BF's here, particularly the more bohemian Thais (artists, musicians, tattoo artists). I know lots of Western woman/Thai guy couples. Don't know the band in Butterfly Rock (as far as I know), so not sure who that would have been.

Going back to the original question about Thai men and western women.

I am a western woman and I have had a couple of relationships over the years here with Thai men. They can be good or bad as in any relationships with anyone. It is all depenant on the individual, but I would say it is always going to take more effort here because of the cultural and language barriers.

The hardest part is the meeting of someone! As was mentioned before, I have found that Thai men are not as forthcoming in initiating conversation and it can be difficult to meet someone. (Maybe I'm just ugly!) But in the relationships that I've had I've found Thai guys to be caring, thoughtful, great fun and generous. Unfortunatly they can also be very jealous, paranoid and possesive too.
