Private Planes near HH?
What I s HH Airport used for other than a few commercial flights to Chiang Mai? Any private planes, charters, ultralights, tours, balloons, or anything? I dont live near enough to the airport to hear any planes so just wondering.

It house's the Civil Aviation training school for both fixed wing and helicopters. Also an "approved" maintenance centre for some types, plus an unaproved hiding place for gangsters aircraft!

It also has sporadic VIP flights from Thailand and overseas. It maintains a full safety, re-fueling and Air Traffic Control capability.
As has been reported previously, there are intentions to increase commercial activity, but COVID set these plans back by quite a few years.
