Sending remainder of household goods

Post by Governor »

My final move to my home in Hua Hin from the UK takes place at the beginning of August, and whilst I have taken a great deal of clothing to Hua Hin on my many trips, some stuff still remains.

I need to send out the remainder of my CD/DVD collection and some books and remnants of my previous life that I cannot do without, there is not too much, but too much to bring with me, can anyone reccommend a suitable, pain free method.

Thanks

We fly Thai Airways mostly.
If we ask, they always give us an extra 5 kg. each.
My friend went last week and they gave him an extra 15kg between him and wife.
Not much but all adds up.
You can also quite easily send unaccompanied luggage from Perth. A bit expensive but a lot less hastle than sea freight.
You only live once.

One alternative is to upgrade your airfare and get a higher baggage allowance. Otherwise look into the unaccompanied baggage costs with Thai. Courier companies tend to be fairly pricy, and the best way to go is through a freight fowarder.
