Legal requirements for buying a New Car

Thinking about buying a new car from Toyota, remember the last car we bought we had to go to immigration to do some paperwork, that was 15 years ago. Anyone bought a new car lately from a dealer and what is the process?

Not a big problem..Just the usual letter from imm re prove of address.
