Fair enough Steve - I couldn't open the link unfortunately. Still a low price even based on India, but live and learn!

Prices for the MGs is incorrect. Except for the MG EP, knock about 100k off, as the promotion prices were on the 'promotion' page:

Sadly, physics always wins.STEVE G wrote: ↑Sun Nov 12, 2023 2:19 pmAt current sales volumes, EVs are heading towards 20% of global car sales by the end of the year which is hardly "Almost nobody".
If EVs were actually as bad as all the negativity you see on the Internet and in the UK press, they would have died a natural death years ago.
What you are seeing is huge amounts of lobbying money being spent by the vested interests in the fossil fuel and IC motor industries who never thought this technology was going to advance so quickly.
Renewable energy is now getting so cheap that throwing money away to the Middle East for fossil fuels is absolute stupidity.
Your ignorance or bias 'opinion' is mind boggling. EVs fit my lifestyle perfectly here, and really can't see most having issue with the.
I'm starting to get a sense that the future is going to be a disappointment to some people!Sadly, physics always wins.
EVs are a commercial and technical dead end. There is nothing likely to replace ICE for at least 20 years.
With the conventional internal combustion engine, more energy goes to waste heat through the exhaust or radiator than makes it to the wheels so be careful of using science to predict the future of transportation.

"...that plant just made its last-ever internal combustion engine.
BMW confirmed to InsideEVs that the company has now ended production of its V8 engine at the Munich plant, news first reported by Electrive and BMW Blog. This brings an end to any internal combustion motor production at the company's headquarters, and arguably its global beating heart. Granted, the plant still makes some cars that get ICE motors, but making actual gas engines there is a thing of the past."
