Will be heading back to Huahin in February for the first time in 6 years.

You can never say for sure, but certainly High Season has started early this year. Problem is the Christmas crowd may go home, and nobody come to replace them. Unlikely, but we just don't know. However, indications are looking very good at the moment.
During and post Covid, Soi 94 has become Hua Hin's premiere night spot. Certainly the bars of Soi 80 look very shady in comparison, with many Soi 94 bars very roomy and accommodating Basically, the Soi 94 area has expanded from Soi 88 to 102..

Others may see it differently, but IMO Hua Hin has never been a place that the Chinese have flocked to.
