HD Prime Internet TV ... problem?

Post by Teabone »

Hi all,

Having used this service for over 8 years now my TV 'supplier', HD Prime, seems to have run into difficulties with the authorities i.e. it's been taken down by the looks of things!
I am posting this to ask if any other user is having the same issues, or has the cyber police just focus on my TV.

Cheers, Teabone.

Thanks for checking - No, my subs are good until August. I just looked again and it still will not connect, I also just tried the home page ( https://hdpri.me/ ) and got a 'This content has been suspended' notice. I am pleased to hear yours is okay - hope it continues and mine is returned.

Yes, that link shows a "Computer Crimes" notice from the Thai Gov. Maybe try using a VPN to somewhere outside of here.

Yes, I'm now connected via VPN to Singapore. The site works.

I use Nord VPN - works well and reasonable cost

Yes, agree about NORD, I just started using them after finishing with Express VPN.

I use their app on an android box, no need for a VPN I guess as not accessing their website.

I'm on a visit in the UK just now and I've literally just watched HDPrime and it's working fine. Maybe because I'm not in Thailand. I'll be here for another couple of months so I hope it's still running when I return.

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I have downloaded the 'Brave' browser and am trying their 7 day VPN trial. This has opened the HD Prime site and I have access to the movies and series. However, the TV section appears, but it is so slow that it is impossible to watch.
I am a lot better off than I was 6 hours ago, lets hope it will improve even more. Thanks again.

There's plenty of discussion and recommendations for VPNs here: viewtopic.php?t=21434&start=381

Express used to be popular but now Nord beats it on price and service.

All that I would say is if you get a VPN, you can most probably dump HD Prime.

Id agree about dumping HDPrime (TV). However it's worth keeping the VOD which is relatively cheap. They hold hundreds of complete series both past and present along with as many movies.

I've just checked my link to HD Prime, via both my usual Chrome browser and also the new Brave browser , and all seems to be good. So it looks like the VPN suggestion has cracked it, thanks again to all for your comments.
But I am confused (easily done) about this, now I have a VPN, does it work on the whole computer, or just the browser that I used to install it. I guess there is an idiots proof guide out there somewhere but I have yet to find it!
Cheers - Teabone.
