Had to be said, the "Waterworld" remake was equally disappointing, but on a decidedly lower budget....

Incontinence was an unexpected problem at the newly opened OAP village.

A BIG thank you to wado-karate who was this week's guest judge.

This week's top 5:

5th dtaai-maai with "Poor old dear, I see she's come out in her dressing gown again."

4th dtaai-maai with "That reminds me. My old man bought me a rubber wetsuit last Christmas. It's got iron spikes and a cage mask, but it should do the trick."

3rd Jimbob with "Kerb surfing, a new past time for the elderly"

2nd dtaai-maai with "Would you just look at all this water, Mary!
Yes dear, I know. I was expecting something like this, that's why I'm not wearing anything underneath my raincoat"

1st place goes to Jimbob with ""Oooh, when I was a mama san in Bangkok it was like this in the monsoon season""

Thank you very much to all who participated. Jimbob you now have until 21:00 on 23 June 2024 to post the next entry. Competition results will be announced on 28 June 2024.

Wow!!! What an evil act. I wasn't aware until I'd just looked the vandalisation up, and watched the video. I've never been a fan of the stones, but they bring a lot of pleasure to a lot of people. I have a very good friend who is a Druid priest - I'll bet he's devastated. I suppose the vandals have had their 2 minutes of fame.

I've read that it was food colouring that washes off in the rain? No idea if accurate.
