Future Job?

Post by fach3003 »

Hi all i hope you can throw some ideas around....
im about 2 years from moving to Hua Hin full time.
I wrote all this up and there was just a power cut!! (in UK!)
So this time its shorter honest!!!

Ive spent all my time to get qualified... gaining experience reach the top
of what i wanted to do... now im there im fed up and after 10 years
of Targets had enuff.......

The monies fab but this isnt life!!!

The Wife misses her folks bad ( loves it here mind!)
and its exciting to think of life over there....

But i recon she'll be the bread winner
and ill be doing the school runs :D

Ill be under 40 when i land
i just want something to fill in time
as all the books / Gyms and house keeping? hahaha
will become a bind im sure....

I dont fancy opening anything up ( Shop etc)
What do others do who are a while away
from retirement ( no Disrespect!)....

Im sure this has been covered before but im a newbie.

Regards,

Mark of the North.

Yes, it has been covered here before, but I can't remember where.

If you're not worried about dosh, how about doing some voluntary work. Dawn at the Dog Rescue Centre is desperate for help, and (if you'd like to try your hand at teaching) there are some rural schools, outside Hua Hin who would really appreciate someone to speak to the kids in 'real' English.

You sound like a dynamic kind of guy, and perhaps lying on the beach all day is not your scene. You seem rather young to be retiring (lucky you :) ) but there's always something you can get involved in if you really want to.
