Had a couple of weeks a way only to return and find that the MV Starbucks appears to be undergoing a refurbishment. Does anyone know when it is likely to reopen.
I know there are alternatives both the other Starbucks or plenty of other coffee shops, just interested to know offhand if anyone is aware as I have not seen anything online and have not got round to asking at other venues.
Starbucks MV
Re: Starbucks MV
Probably a stupid question, but ... location ?
TIA
Really nice looking one on Phuket, but since HH forum ... locally ?

Re: Starbucks MV
I thought it was well known that MV stood for Market Village HuaHin when used in this forum.
Re: Starbucks MV
Certainly well overdue, the air con was past due for a good clean. Although overpriced compared to other places the quality is consistent (opinions of taste will no doubt vary). Hopefully all that profit is being converted into upgraded comfort. When it eventually is finished
Re: Starbucks MV
I asked at the Stsrbucks Thailand website and apparently it will reopen in August for those who may be interested. Plenty of time to check out some no doubt cheaper establishments.

Re: Starbucks MV
Let it stay closed. I have always hated Starbucks. I've never had a good cup of coffee there. It is extremely expensive and it's served in paper cups. Rubbish!!
Re: Starbucks MV
^I like the Coffee Today stall which is on the first floor of MV, just by the door to go out to Pizza Company.
They do a good cup of coffee, in a cup, for a fraction of Starbucks prices.

The coffee at Milkland is okay. Starbucks is useful if you are too early for MV opening. I don't think the coffee is too bad but acknowledge it is not the best. At least it is consistent. I went to the clock tower one today (was able to get parked which is unusual) and was told that MV branch will open on 8 Aug. We shall see.
