A general question including the Premier league also. Do they allow people to bring their own food/drink into the stadiums?

I can only answer for Thailand these days, and the answer is yes/no.

Certainly drinks are only allowed in plastic cups (no plastic bottles). However, if you buy a Ratchaburi FC Yeti cup, they will fill it with ice and whatever drink you choose. Plastic bottles are banned because a full one makes quite a heavy throwing object. I presume because Yeti cups are so expensive, nobody would think about throwing one.

Food is generally permitted into most stadiums, and I've even seen them permit metal knives, forks and spoons, which could also be used as weapons.

Rules regarding what you can carry into Thai stadiums are inconsistent e.g. at the Thunder Castle umbrellas are banned.

First on the list should have been Don't Go!! Admittedly, it was a long while back I visited, for a Rugby League game - GB vs Aus when John "Jiffy" Davies was playing, which shows how long ago it was. Difficult to get there, overpriced and we were so far away from the pitch it was hard to tell what teams were playing.... Didn't try the beer BB, but I suspect it was not allowed, crap and expensive if it was

I had a friend go for an England Footie International a couple of years ago, and you could buy beer inside the stadium, which I think had to be consumed in the bar area. Back then it was £39.80 for a round of 4 pints.

I'm sure lost can advise what the bar situation/prices are at Spurs..

I took my nephew on a tour of the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and were given some interesting facts - at a football match, no alcohol can be consumed in the stands or (more importantly) in view of cameras - a general law regarding televised football apparently (which I'll have to check). Not even the VIPs in their boxes can drink outside of the "lounge" when watching football. Rugby on the other hand does not suffer from the same rules.... Although there are a number of twats these days who have let the country and sport down in Wales. Pr*cks who can't handle their drink, no respect for rugby and spoil the day for others basically.... This is why we now have Alcohol Free Zones.

When I and friends/family went to a (rugby) match, it was a few beers before the game and a hipflask to share during it. More interested in the game than getting pi$$ed....

I watched most of it, and it was really terrible. The scoreline would not have flattered Wednesday if it had been 9 or 10 - such a one-sided game, I don't remember. We just need to hope Sheffield Wednesday turn out to be one of this season's shock teams.

At least the big man hasn't let anybody down.

It may be a fluke, the following few weeks will tell. If not a fluke, anxious to see how long the board will take to give him the boot! I think they had stars in their eyes hiring him in the first place. "Oh my god...Wayne Rooney is coming to coach our team...." Rubbish manager history so why do they think it will be different now?

It is not just the manager, it is the management team they put in place around him. Since almost coming a cropper after the Japanese sugar daddy incident Plymouth have been very shrewd with their hiring and firing. OK, hiring Southgate's apprentice was a huge mistake. I would be very surprised if they the same mistake twice in succession.

I doubt being star struck had anything to do with the decision to hire. I know the world is expecting him to crash and burn, but I just see him as a very small cog inside a very big wheel. Mind you, after listening to his post-match interview yesterday, my leniency is starting to disappear, and I'm beginning to join the rest of the world in their expectations. However, it'll take more than one crap game to convince me.
