Just went through a PC "upgrade" and am still dealing with the fallout. Biggest loss is the old version of Adobe Photoshop. I really need to get it back. With the old version, I was sort of an expert. ..this new version has me lost.
I used photoshop to upload photos from my mobile via USB cable into a desktop folder. I worked with them there for selection and when I clicked on a photo it opened in photoshop ready to work on. All I ever do/did to my photos is crop, resize, add text and use the clone function to repair faults . .maybe play with the lighting. The new version is a nightmare. Nearly impossible to find and use these few simple functions. Getting a photo into the "workbox?" takes several steps, once worked on there isnt a save button nor does delete work. 90% of the "upgrade" involves creating layers, changing the sky to purple, editing to make it look like you are in Rome and a host of other AI type stuff that I will never use. I fail to see any value in it unless one is a professional artist or photographer . ..or influencer perhaps.
I have tried following a couple of "How to . ." videos on Facebook but the point is that even if I tried to learn what they are teaching, its mostly stuff I will never use.
So . . .question. How can I get back the old version of Photoshop?? Is it even available? Thanks for any help

Re: Adobe photoshop (old version)??
I, too, had a problem adapting to the new photoshop. But slowly learnt what to do. Once you get used to it, it's usually an upgrade from before. For example, messing about with the clone function, can now mostly be sorted quickly with generative AI. The only way I'm aware of getting the old photoshop is to cancel the legal subscription and pirate download whichever version you were previously comfortable using from the usual sites. Of course this will come with its own issues.

Just googled, there are still supported versions prior to the upgrades so get in touch with Adobe and they might be able to offer the version you are happy with.
