Yes same setup at memory house on the corner although think it was 100 baht voucher there, was a couple years back - I guess they are probably doing this to discourage large groups buying a couple drinks and taking selfies for 2 hours, not a fan either though for sure.
[ am really against paying an admission fee for any restaurant, even more so when it lists itself as a café. However, our intention is to eat there, so we're certain to get our admission fee back. We will still give it a go.

We went to Loch Camp for lunch today, and I was shocked at the very strict cashless policy. That and the fact you had to eat in the restaurant, and have drinks in the coffee shop. I guess there must be a logic there somewhere. I liked the waterfall inside the toilet bock.

Food was very nice, and prices middle of the road. Grounds have been prepared beautifully. I had the impression the weekend Bangkokian Selfie Brigade will swamp the place.

Looks good to me. Will definitely visit when next in town.

Does cashless mean payment only by QR code? Or contactless (card or apple pay). Or card with PIN?

There was quite a selection. We rarely eat spaghetti, but coincidentally all opted for spaghetti dishes (all different). There was quite a selection of Thai food, and I also saw steaks, chops, etc. There were basics, such as French fries, and spring rolls. A really good selection.

Obviously, being new, the place was spotless as well.

For personal reasons, my daily trips to the lake are probably twice weekly at the moment. During today's visit, I see window frames and in some places, even glass is being fitted.

No, I can't see what it is yet.

I've been neglecting the lake for a few weeks for various reasons, but hopefully my regular walks have now resumed.

The carbuncle continues to take shape, but I've still no idea what it is yet.

As for the area where I thought they might be building a car park for the carbuncle, if you look through the green wall, you can make out a building is starting to rise from the ground.

Well, I'm certainly lost (not the member), but have followed all with interest. Absolutely clueless now (after recent photo's) what it'll be - Certainty not what I thought from first impressions.. :?

The bit that is interesting me is I've been watching since the start to this fairly well developed carbuncle. There does seem to be a toilet block (small windows in IMG_4033) but no water supply on or off of the 'pier/platform'. A good point made by PeteC some tome ago, and I've been watching ever since.
