My wife does a good amount of Immigration work in Korat. She says that they are now checking when you do an extension of stay to make sure you’ve done a TM30 after your most recent return from abroad. If, not, there’s a fine. They don’t much care about travel to other provinces.

But, that’s Korat. Cha Am may have a totally different take.

She did an online TM30 for me a couple of days ago. She said it was easy. We went to Immigration the next day to do my extension. First we had to get a residence certificate. The clerk who did it said that both my recent entry and the TM30 were on their records.

I remember fondly the days when I did the extension by myself. Now it is so complex that I just let my wife do it. Her fee for family members is quite low.

Is this a joke? Your wife charged you to do this?

You are supposed to be able to do it online, though last year when i was just about to do it they decided to delete everyone's account and make them re-register

As I posted above, the online TM30 does work. We just used it a few days ago.

Same here, About a year ago I was told at the main immigration to go away as I was returning to my home. This was confirmed yesterday when I did my 90 day without doing the TM 30 in June! No comment was made.
Enjoying 'Retirement'....So many jobs to do, I don't know how I ever had time to work!

The "better half" made to register me on the new TM 30 form yesterday and to get it confirmed I checked with Immigration Blueport and it was accepted.

Just a thought. Has anyone tried/succeeded in adding a stay on the online version of TM30 AHEAD of the arrival date? It would be really convenient if you could do this as when you arrive there are so many other things to do.
