Thanks Pagey, I know ... but the issue with them is that they are not replying to my emails. I am a little suspicious about sending any kind of payment online to people who don't want to speak to me. Thanks again

This is becoming a common issue with all types of businesses these days - they'd rather communicate via social media but don't comprehend that not everybody uses social media; pretty much everyone has an email address, though!

Just a thought, but have you checked your junk folder for their replies?

That's strange as they reply to me almost immediately when i have a query like I did a couple of weeks ago. :thumb:

But why do you need to speak with them anyway if all you want to do is renew your subs? I renew monthly and if every subscriber emailed them whenever they wanted to renew their subs they would be inundated.

Buksida - I am becoming increasingly aware of how antiquated I am ... never used to be the case (actually, it was something I said about people older than me!). Yes, I checked my spam - the cupboard was / is bare.

Pagey - I have always paid annually (for the past 8 years) but only did so after they had confirmed the account number (which they always did). I too have not had issues with them before this - it is a concern.

Both - I have taken a leap of faith and sent via bank transfer a months subscription (570 baht) without them getting back to me. I thought it better to risk 570 rather than 5,700. I did this and I am still waiting for it to show on my account as being processed.

That was 30 mins ago and still waiting !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, something I've never done, previously used True Money and last 2 months QR code and points are always there immediately.

Bank Transfer, it does ask you to email them first for account details, I'm guessing it's their least favourite method of payments and I wouldn't be surprised if they close that avenue as now they have a QR code in place.

You will just have to be patient and play a waiting game but I'n sure all will be processed.

Edit : It does say QR code payment will be processed in under a minute.

I used to use True Money but recently used their QR code. No problem. Accepted immediately and the points appeared also immediately.

Just checked again and the little circle is still going around the status box telling me it is 'pending'. At this moment in time if anyone else is considering sending HD Prime any money, I would have to urge caution. I really hope to be able to report differently soon.

I am delighted to say that the payment has just been processed. So I have got myself a 30 day package and it all works fine.

The emails I sent are still un-answered, and will probably remain so - but the actual system works ... albeit slowly. It has taken 8 hours from the money being accepted to the flick of the switch to get points turned into a package.

The lessons I will take from this are a) get myself set up with a QR payment option (I don't know if my bank has one!) and b) start the renewal process a lot earlier, maybe a week!

Thanks to all who have contributed their experiences, knowledge and comments - much appreciated.

As long as you have a banking app on your phone you will be fine using the QR code............ :thumb:
