Built-in oven repair

Post by joelle »

Hello all, I have a built-in fan oven which has packed up. The fan is not working anymore and it gives very little heat.
Any suggestion for someone who can come to my house to fix it would be more than welcome.

Hi joelle. If the oven is fan-assisted it should still be cooking well without the fan, just taking a little longer, so yes it sounds like a problem! Is it a good brand (or even Electrolux :D)? If so it's better to identify their service team in Hua Hin.

Just make sure it’s worth spending money on a repair rather than consider buying a replacement - depending on how old it is, once things start going wrong it could be a tell tale sign!!

Yes of course but for a start it would be nice to have a quote for repair which I don't know whom to get it from.

As has been indicated, there are a number of specialist repair centres in Hua Hin - not sure whether your manufacturer is one of them, or whether you have to try a generalist, albeit a recommendation for a generalist would be helpful.

Thanks, it's a TEKA, I will try and find the manufacturer number and see what they say also follow Nereus' advice.
