Cup success is a nice distraction, but there is a much more important job to do. It is quite ironic that Rooney's demise coincided with players return to fitness. Argyle have not lost since the axe fell.

The match stats tell a different story, but I'm happy to have something to smile about for a couple of days.

Winning brings confidence so doesn’t matter that it’s in the FA Cup as long as they use it as a stepping stone.

   Agree DB, my Internet was playing up last night so I was listening on Argyle TV and watching at same time so a bit disjointed. The Greens deserved something from the match, I was praying we could see it out in the 90 more for the fact we didn't have to play an extra 30 mins. Hope no serious injuries. We'll done Nance, Joe and the boys on the pitch, Green Army deserve something to cheer about on the road 💚

Yes, but my worry is that as Giant Killers, they make themselves targets. I've seen it time and time again - do really well against a good opponent, and then fail against a mediocre team in the league. If they get 7 points from their upcoming 3 home matches in a row, I will be a very happy bunny.

They have to win both of their games this week - anything less will be unacceptable. Burnley the following Wednesday will be a tougher nut to crack.

Well you have to start winning games and it doesn’t really matter where - it’s one game at a time so just take it as a bonus and hope it’s the start of a good run.

Plymouth get a chance to move out of the relegation zone tonight if they can beat Luton, the only team below them in the Championship!!

Hard to believe that of Luton. They played damn good football in the Prem last season. But I guess they lost a few players incl Ross Barkley who was superb for them.

On paper, it should be a breeze. Until last weekend's result, Plymouth were the league's in-form team - they've bridged a massive gap to get off the bottom, whilst playing some class teams. Tonight's result could determine survival or relegation (for both teams).

It’s so tight at the bottom that tonight’s game is unlikely to decide anything other than a win for either team will be a big boost, but a draw will do almost nothing.

A win will re-ignite Plymouth's push for survival. With Hull City following in quick succession, we are going through a crucial period. More importantly, the team have confidence following recent results. Anything less than 3 points tonight could mark the end.

A 1 - 1 draw, with Luton being by far the better team. At the end of the day, a draw didn't help either team. Of course, once you get into a relegation battle, it's incredibly hard to carve out a decent result. The last 13 games are going to be very hard/interesting.

Man City go out of the Champions League

As I've said on here before they simply don't have a defence so not much chance against an in form Real Madrid.

John Stones is a good footballer but he's a bang average defender
