Close enough

Getting back to LBH phrase, I've lived in Thailand amongst Thais for quite a few years now, and until the Graeme Davidson discussion, had never heard the term, although as I said further up the page, "If the cap fits."

Just think about it. How many Thais have the ability to put a phrase into abbreviatons, and if they did, it would not be LBH, but RBH. Methinks a term created by other Farangs (who think they are actually better than those they refer to as LBH), or the script writers using a bit of poetic licence.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

The phrase LBH came from the White Lotus season 3, Daily Mail just copied it off there... Lazy!

As far as I remember, the derogatory term LBH started amongst high-powered HK expats long ago, possibly in the banking industry. After that I think it was even in use in Dubai over 10 years ago when I was there (in the early/mid-2000s the number of British chancers turning up looking for any type of work increased hugely, mainly sniffing around the construction boom).
