I still like the M32 IPA better, but this is pretty good. As expected, it's brewed in Chachoengsao by Thai Spirit Industries. I bought the last two that Lotus's Cha Am had on display.
I noticed that this beer is now available at several 7Elevens in Cha Am. Don't know about elsewhere. As I recall, it is 89 baht per 490(?) ml can. I've come to like it a lot.

I'm in my local bar out on the 3218 road and the Carabao rep has just been in with samples of a couple of beers from Tawandang brewery.
One was a fruit beer, which isn't my kind of thing but they have an IPA which I was pretty impressed with.
Some of these modern IPAs try to hard and put too much flavour in them which can be a bit overwhelming but this one is quite subtle.

New law backs local booze makers
The Community Liquor Law is now in force, allowing small producers to legally make all types of alcohol while preventing unfair monopolies.

Pheu Thai Party MP and spokesman Chanin Rungtanakiat on Friday said that the Ministry of Finance would subsequently update its ministerial regulations and criteria in accordance with the new law, a move that will provide better access to legal alcohol production licences for all farmers and entrepreneurs.

Mr Chanin also expressed confidence that the law would significantly promote Thai alcohol culture on a global scale, further enhancing the nation's soft power and elevating the standards and quality of local spirits.

Does this mean we'll be able to get a decent IPA here without paying New York prices?

What ever happened to the Leo beer (STRONG BREW) which came out last year. I thought it had a beer taste similar to what is available in UK and very much agreed with my taste?

Now, does this mean the alcohol advertising law has been scrapped too?

FB seems to have plenty of photo ads now for new brew, one listed below.
