Ah well, if they will wear carpet slippers for a mans game! I mean, its not rocket science is it? In my day, we hardly wore the "billy's boots" my old man wore, and I had a preference for Puma myself (more flair than adidas, don't you think? Although as I got older, Adidas became my choice  ) , my Dad would laugh at them, but they did offer some protection to the foot and toes by being "sturdyish", now players get injuries that weren't heard of a few years ago. You would think someone could work the connection out?

Anyway, back to IKTS, does anyone know whether the prediction buddy is a thing of the past? I found it helpful, although the beebs pre-match analysis is pretty good.

Difficult first week, wasn't it?

i was quite confident of scoring a few points, not to worry, its a long way to go & things can only get better.
just to rub salt in to the wound, i got an email from the ikts mailer telling me i am 42,257th in the national league :(

Yes, and Khun Bradders has risen also with a good week. BB, who are you??

Many had a good week #2. It now gets harder (at least for me) as the mind gets muddled with looking at last years results against this year's performance, no matter how short it has been.

ManU is disappointing, perhaps a good insurance chip for a month or so. Bolton looks like it has crashed under Sammy Lee at least for now.

Like it or not, my gut tells me ManC is going to be good this year.

My TOON will finish in the top 5. :D This is fun stuff, regardless of the outcome. I think the key is not to get too serious about it, which may ba hard for a Brit? :P Pete

Manc v Manc this w/e, or rather those fans that live in and near the place and support the local team against the Prawn sandwich brigade who visit once a fortnight but leave as soon as they can! :)

Thaiorchid extends his lead after yesterday's matches!!
However, I've played my banker and it came off - Spurs. Don't think I've ever gone that way over the past couple of seasons. Mind you, I had it 2-0 and when I checked live scores, they were up 3-0 after 10 mins or so.
You were all lucky on the Fulham vs Midds game. I had that as 1-1 until some idiot scored in extra time.
Tonight's games, I've really got no idea. At least my Ins is on one of them.

Amazing
Toxin City vs Prawn Sandwich Brigade 1-0. This looks like a promising season.

i predicted derby 1-2 birmingham but it shows as -10 points, meaning i'm actually 40 pts down & dropped from 8th to 13th when i should have leapt up to 7th!! :cuss:
some cracking scores this week guys by the way
