So what is going on around here and where does it happen? This section is for discussion on local events, festivals, and holidays as well as activities and things to do.

Does Hua Hin have any movie theaters? And what language is movie in - Thai, I would guess?

No cinemas here at present but one is due to open either later this year or next year just south of the Catholic school on the main road between Hua Hin and Kao Takiab, as part of the Tesco-Lotus/Homepro development. As of now the nearest cinema is in Phetchburi in the Big C store, but it only shows the Thai language versions of Western movies as far as I know. I don't know what the case will be with the new one that is opening though.

The movie theatre that is being built now is going to be Major Cineplex. In Bangkok and Pattaya they show movies in English so I assume that will be the case in HH as well.
