Post by bjarne »

Heard rumours about this service to be opened 2007/08.
Anyone who can fill me in on this?

The rumours says a Minibus service will be available between Suvarnabhumi and Hua Hin sometime.
Any year is not mentioned in the rumour I've heard.
Guess it still is nothing but a rumour.
Take a taxi.
Will cost between 1500 to 2000 Baht.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.

I took the mini-bus to BKK then got the airport bus from Vic.Monument
the other day...had big bag with me (dunno her name), the mini-bus
driver charged me 50b for it,then 60b on A/port bus...turned out a cheap
option to getting there.

Can anyone tell us if the new bridge is open that was gonna cut out the
need to go into BKK when goin' to A/port?
It looks like you take the east-bound route of highway 9 off the BKK Rd.
Maybe if buses can bypass the metropolis, over the new river bridge &
on to meet the toll-Rd before the a/port they think its worth opening a
service..?

Usual suspect, I think you are right that nobody will start a bus service until they can bypass the city. I have to drive around that area in about a week so I will have a look at how the bridge is progressing.
