LEFT Handed Clubs For Sale!!

Post by HHTel »

I've acquired some golf clubs that are no earthly use to me (I'm right-handed).

Comprises of:
Oversize 7 and 3 Pinseeker.
Turner 508/400cc driver
5,6,7,8,9 irons and Wedge - Pinseeker
52,56 and 60 degree Professional Open

+ bag.

Okay for beginner but will need to buy a putter.

Let's have a 7 day auction. Highest bidder (regardless) gets them.

They're cluttering up my stair cupboard!

If you're only doing a 7 day thing, you might need to keep bumping the topic to let maximum number of members see it. Ooops - shouldn't have told you that.

It's a four stroke twin with variable camshaft.

I'll start the bidding at 200 baht then - I can't play with a regular set of clubs, these may work!

Well done Buksida. Block everyone else's posts and they're yours!

Turner 508 is just what's written on the driver. I don't pretend to understand what that means.

Hold on there HH Tel........... !?!? Did you say a Turner 508?

Sorry Buksida but I'm in for 400 baht. I'll let you know if they work or not. That's providing the "on switch" has not been broken off......The Turner 508 did come with an "on switch" didn't it?

Oh Hobie, you eagle-eyed genius!

The Turner508 is indeed a classic of its genre.

I'm just off to tot up the loose change in the piggy bank. Be right back. Wednesday, eh? Should give me time to come up with some serious dosh...

P.S. Tel, if you can get your hands on the 507 model, you'll really be quids in...
This is the way

Well I'm in BKK at the moment but fortunately have already made plans to be in HH Tues. or Wed. to hopefully close this auction.

Let it be known that I'll be busting all my ceramic porksters also before my departure so you can conclude that the biding war is on my friend.

P.S. Tryed the 507 but I believe there was a factory recall on the on/off switch for that model.

Hey guys,
You tickled my curiousity so did a Google Search and the top site had this to say:

"The Turner 508 Ti Driver incorporates an SP 700 Beta Titanium face. This stronger and thinner titanium will produce distances beyond your expectations. The 400cc size is the most forgiving in the new Turner Series. It's a great head for all playing levels. The Turner series is the longest, straightest, most accurate driver series that we have ever brought to the market. "

Looks like there is a club in the selection that is a 'known entity'. Of course it comes with a host of other clubs and a bag to-boot. The Turner has a blue grahite shaft. Maybe I should put a 'reserve' on it but I won't. After all, you have to be left handed and I really want rid of them.

400 baht at the moment gets them. Unless someone has more money to spend before 12 noon next Wednesday!!

S^!t I din't realize this Turner 508 plus set we're bidding on is  left handed. Any chance of retracting my bid. Doesn't do me a world of good either.
