I also wonder if Sven will last the season as he gets fed up with the Great Man's meddling.
:?

But there is no Thai players in the team, I think they only have one at the club.

Ive not heard a single thing about Mr T meddling with the football side of the club.

I'm not sure what this means .. but during Taksin's tenure, it became a lot easier for me. When I first started coming to Thailand, the retirement visa age was 55 (or 60?). Now it's 50.

In times past, a retirement visa renewal required usually 3 trips to immigration. Now it's a one-stop task.

If you mean Bt 1,900 instead of Bt 500, to me it works out cheaper.

That being said, I don't believe Taksin's leadership should be judged on how easy or difficult it is for farangs to stay on longer term visas. His job, IMO, was to make Thailand better for Thais.

Maybe you didn't see all the protest demonstrations by the thousands of people in Bangkok.
It wasn't only the military who wanted Toxin out of office, but ordinary people as well, particularly people from the big cities.
TRT did pay people in rural areas to get their votes, but nobody dare to step forward and tell about it.
If they do their most probably history next day.
Are you joking or simply naive. One of my Thai family is an architect. One major project was shut down temporarily then protest organizers came around recruiting protesters .. Bt 200 plus lunch and soft drinks .. and a lot easier.

Taksin carries a lot of baggage, but don't turn a blind eye to the facts.

Also, why was (is?) the entire province of Chiang Mai and many parts of Issan under extended martial law (prohibiting political assembly)?

The playing field is never level in Thailand.

Um .. nice how you took that statement out of context ..

Then responded to a comment I didn't make ..

And then the default slur ..

Please continue banging your head and rolling your eyes and just knowing that someday a PM is going to be elected with a mandate to make it easier for foreigners to live here.
