where can I get?

Post by pfotoguy369 »

A couple of things.

I need a printer repair place mine is on the fritz.

I'm trying to find some mounting tape that wont destroy my walls some one suggested Blue Tack but I haven't been able to find it yet. I checked Home Pro in the mall. lots of sticky stuff but I don't want something that you need a razor blade and a blowtorch to get off.

The pictures are on mounted mat board so they are not heavy

and lastly alprazolam, been to several pharmacies but haven't found one to carry it yet.

hate to go to the extra expense of having a hospital visit + they usually charge more than the pharmacies.

Thanks in advance

There's a good big pharmacy on Chomsin Road, just go north along Sa Song Road through the market area. Chomsin is the T-junction.
Turn right and go a little way toward Phetchkasem, its a double shop front on the left.
Added bonus: watch the man use his abacus!

How old is the printer? These days it's a lot cheaper just to replace, especially if it's just for home use.

If you're hanging pictures, try the 3M 'Command' strips, quote 'Removable Picture Hanging Strips'. Sort of like hardened velcro with double tape.

Website: www.commandstrips.com

If I remember correct, they were bought from the Makro Office store. I found a similar product to 'Bluetack' at the Central department store, it's yellow instead of blue but functions in the same way.

Unfortunately I'm in Bangkok so can't tell you if the products are available in Hua Hin, but just letting you know these products are available in Thailand...

PC printers, if that is what you mean are not worth repairing. It us unlikely you will get it done foe much less than the new cost of a similar spec printer. There is a place in the railway road on the opposite side to the railway near one of the back entrances to the old market run by two young Thai guys who specialize in printers and ink. Try them first. They have a good selection of end of range printers. I was there yesterday and they had a Canon Pixma iP4200 marked up at 4,800 but I know they have supplied them for 4,200. 18 months ago this was the best under 10,000 BHT printer on the market. They have many other printers at lower prices.

As for your adhesive question goes. The double sided tape is able to hold quite large weight depending on the surface of both. If you have the one coat only Thai emulsion walls the paint will probably come off with the tape. If the walls are painted properly it can be removed without doing any damage with the most simple of tools available, your thumb nail.
