There are many in Petchakasem north of town on both sides of the road and a few in Nebkerhart. I use the youngish Chinese guy just before the school in Nebkehart on the left. He is a bit more pricey than some but very good and speaks good English.

Shop around and get prices. Take the dimensions and a rough sketch of a plan with you. I have had one done and fitted for 1,500 BHT but metal has risen in cost by 60% since then so mys guess for a single gate you should be looking at about 2,500 BHT.

It runs parallel to Petchkasem, and to the beach side of it. Starts at the clock tower and ends before the King's Palace.

We recently got a quote for our house which is small with seven windows two of which are extremely big and two that are rather small and the last three standard size. Also two doors of which the front are double and the back single.

We decided to get some really nice steel coverings with some fancy gold bands with over sized steel which look pretty nice. Not just your average steel window coverings. We were quoted 50,000 baht. I was told that if we went with standard steel with plan design it would be around 32,000 for our home.

For a single door standard steel I would expact to pay around 3500 baht. Steel is getting rather expensive.
Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?

Ops.........sorry you said gate didn't you. I would double the price some where around 7000-8000 baht. I'm not sure exactly just going off the quotes I recieved for our house windows and doors.

I think the OP was looking for the cost of a gate not a door as I made the mistake of assuming. I would imagine a gate would be almost double the amount of steel required to make than a door.
