I have to agree, i thought the service was wonderful when i stayed in the hilton last year although food is expensive and not any better then the cheaper establishments throughout the town
Thai friend of a Thai friend just returned from Los Angeles, where he had been booked into the Hilton. Standard room, US$ 400/day. The "high season" rate for the Hilton HH is Bt 6700. Only "peak season" gets anywhere close at 9500. And I would guess that the HH Hilton gives a much better bang for the buck than does downtown LA.
