Hello partygoers!

I´m arriving to a warm and sunny HH Dec 30 (for a 6-month stay, to begin with), from a dark and gloomy Sweden and look forward to a kick-start on New Years Eve! Neither me nor my Thai girlfriend are especially familiar with HH night life even if we´ve been there a few times before. Whats happening? What are your best suggestions for a great 2008 New Years Eve party/event in Hua Hin? Where do the expats go, where do the locals meet and what is the best place for a mixed crowd??
Am I too early for this question/topic?
