Working in Thailand (Hua Hin)

Post by lee808 »

Hi

Been in Hua hin about a month now and really enjoying my stay, does anybody have any ideas or any details of agencies that i may be able to research into finding work here ? im a 35 year old brit, a qualified mechanical precision engineer but have alot of other working skills also, i know chances of a farang finding work here are pretty slim, unless i want to be a teacher, which i dont !

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Lee

As you stated yourself finding work here is not easy unless you start up your own business ... which is also not easy.

There are no recruitment agencies for foreigners in Hua Hin though there is a little more info on the expat website:

The only one I know of was called On-Point and they are a Thai recruitment agency for locals and graduates etc as far as I'm aware ... if they're still in operation. Contact details on the business directory:

On Point are still trading well, they specialise in recruitment of westerners and Thais, they also do many training courses for larger companies and team building days. They are really good guys, if you want their contact numbers pm me.
