I have found that Ammonia Spirit, applied early, usually knocks many bites on the head

Sandman, instead of using urine on Jellyfish stings, use Vinegar. Is one of the things that is highly recommended here in Australia to be used for stinger or jellyfish stings

thanks for the tip mate...Ive heard the urine tip elsewhere but the lad that told me also says chickens dont float so Im dubious ....

I don't always have a bottle of vinegar on me, but urine is always on tap so to speak....

how big are the venomous centipedes here?

in Africa they are bloody big.....

The centipedes here range in size from small black ones (2" - 4") to scary red/brown ones (average 8" - 12")
Dont be fooled by their size, they are all as painful as a hefty tax bill....

If you see Thai kids playing with those nasty giant centipedes, don’t be fooled into thinking they’re harmless. They carefully catch them and cut off the pincers with nail clippers first!
