Roof Insulation
Anyone had their roof PU spray foam insulated. Can you recommend it for water proofing. If so, who did you use/recommend and what are the costs per M2?
There are a few companies that do it, "lohr" is one company that does the spraying.(you will have to look them up)
i wouldnt recommend it,especially as it sounds like your trying to fix a leaky roof problem at the same time.
however, if your roof leaks then i suggest you get the leak fixed first, spraying wont fix the leak.also if you spray the roof and want to change any part of it at a later date then it will be difficult to remove any roof tiles as the foam will stick them all together, finally the spray foams insulation properties reduce greatly within time.
if you are looking to insulate then i would recommend insulating on top of your ceiling, this can be brought at home pro. 2" batts will do the job perfectly, also look at ventilating your roof area this will provide better
