Where to buy a sausage stuffing machine

Post by Takiap »

Hi guys

Anyone know where I could buy one of those things used to stuff sausage. Being South African I have to have my Biltong and Boereworse with beer. I make my own Biltong and am wanting to make my own sausage but need one of those sausage stuffers.

Takiap -

Did you find one in the end? If so, where? I have been meaning to try my own sausages for some time, but no machine (and no skins) makes it a bit more difficult, so any info would be hugely welcome!

I was wondering for the same. As a French, I'd like to make my own saussages, i.e. saucissons, salami... as well javascript:emoticon('')

Does anyone know where I can get the casing :P

Francois: If you are in France now, you can get the casings (skins) in your own country. My brother-in-law lives in France and makes his own lovely sausages. Impossible to buy here, much easier to get them posted to you.

Poosmate: Got the latest catalogue from 7-11 - no mincer. Do they do back orders from previous catalogues? If so, can you give us the order number. Ta.

Francois -

"Bring it with you" is, I supsect, the answer that you expected, and rightly so (sadly). If you get here and find a supply of all these goodies, then do, please, let us know and we will be hugely grateful. If not, then mai pen rai - we'll all keep looking.

I asked 'poosmate' for the 7-11 number that wasn't in the latest catalogue, but got no reply. Sad, really. I thought that we were here to help each other!

Good luck -

Don't worry... Sure I will get one, either in Tesco HH or in Carrefour BKK. I'll check in BKK before arriving in HH (My son lives in BKK).

Thank you anyway for your help :)
