Snake can be very tasty!! In California we get rattlesnake, and some specialty restaurants carry it.

Tastes like chicken (or does chicken taste like snake??)

Cant say exactly where it is but it overlooks HH from the top of a damn tall hill, and the road to the restaurant is like the north face of the Eiger.

Oh! Just as well you didn't listen to me then. Sorry to hear he's gone to that snake pit in the sky, but you really had no option.

Kilbirnie: I loved your observations of your dogs. We used to have four dogs, all with different abilities and reactions to snakes, scorpions, etc. We now have only two (sadly  ), and one is particularly good at finding, alerting and dealing with insurgents. The other is frightened of her own shadow, so she's about as much good as a chocolate fire guard.

Chocolate fire guard!

That's a new one for me, it was always "As much use as a Chocolate Tea Pot" in my youth...or an ash tray on a motorbike!

The devil made me do it the first time.
The second time I did it on my own.

When I finally got to the land of milk and honey, the milkman shot me
