Post by lindosfan1 »

Went into the Buffalo bar for a beer tonight by mistake gave I gave a 1000 baht note mixed up with some 20's I did not notice but the girl behind the bar did.
Nice to be able to report this about Thais when I see some of the comments on here.
Woke up this morning breathing that's a good start to the day.

yeah credit where credits due, the service staff in yobt are as good as you get in town

i used to run a hotel in torquay, and finding good staff was not as easy as you think. in the end me and my wife turned to bringing them in from spain, which worked very well for us

Really good to hear something positive for a change. Well done Bill, but we know it happens in other places. Just don't hear it often enough :thumb:

Super Joe

Your management style is world renowned.
Instilling honesty into your staff is easy. Just remember when giving any orders to start off with;-

'khun xxxxx - listen to me, before one of us dies'
Works a treat.

Getting honest staff is not always easy - well done Bill and as already said, good to hear.

There is even honesty in Bangkok.

I went into a KFC outlet on Sukhumvit, and having enjoyed my gourmet meal I left, leaving my mobile phone on the table.

I realised about 10 minutes later and returned and of course the table had been cleared.

I spoke to the lad clearing the tables and he went to the office and collected my phone.

I offered him a 100 baht, which he politely declined to accept.

I have t say that I was impressed.
