theater plays

So what is going on around here and where does it happen? This section is for discussion on local events, festivals, and holidays as well as activities and things to do.

Chas the first step would be to contact BANGKOK COMMUNITY THEATRE via their website.
They should be able to give you advice on how to set this up legally.
Possibly donating any profits to a recognised charity in the area may help.
Good luck and I may get involved (off stage) when I retire.

Thanks for the replies. I checked Bangkok Community Theatre's website and they looked for volunteers who could work backstage. As voiced in earlier posts, maybe expats can volunteer? Since they don't get paid... Anyways, I hope those of you who miss being involved in a production can put up a show in the future or collaborate with BCT. Theater work can be stressful but it's always fun to do.

By the way, I will be staying in Thailand late this year and would like to watch a play. Just curious how the Thais do it.. Which theater company is the most popular? Just in case there are other choices aside from BCT.

Thanks a lot. :)
